Tame Your Dog - Adho Mukha Svanasana
July 21, 2013 from 10am to 1pm
Hotel de la Paix

For both new and experienced practitioners of yoga, downward facing dog (adho mukha svanasana) is often an incredibly demanding posture, requiring strength and a good understanding of anatomy and alignment. Brought by demand to Luang Prabang, this 3-hour workshop will break down the different components of downward facing dog, helping you to discover proper alignment in the posture.

This workshop is open to beginners as well more experienced yogis and teachers too that are interested in the proper biomechanics of Downward Facing Dog. You will learn how to take your dog for a stroll in the park with ease and learn new tricks too! For information, jessica@O2yoga.ch or www.O2yoga.ch.

First part of the workshop will be integrating the body through vinyasa, breath and awareness. We will then move into the subtile biomechanics of this challenging posture and finish with new alignment that will allow us to learn new tricks. We will end with relaxation and joy!
