Mantras and Bhajans - Chanting the Sound of Peace
Sunday June 30, 2013 from 5pm - 8pm
Villa Ban Lao Hotel

A mantra is a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that is considered capable of creating transformation. This class will start with continuous So-Ham mantra chanting. We will then continue the session with different mantras which we usually use in yoga practice. You will be learning those mantras with meaning.

Bhajan is any type of devotional song. It has no fixed form: It may be as simple as a mantra or more sophisticated, involving musical instruments. Chanting Bhajans releases the tensions which we build up in daily life.
