The Art of KnowingThe gentle journey of allowing the mind to be a servant to the heart.
This is a deep guided journey that invites you to delve into the nuances of thinking and knowing, to ultimately arrive at a place where your own truth pulsates in the frequency of the universal energy that surrounds us all. We begin with the premise that as humans, we were once infused on a cellular level with a consciousness that allowed us to commune with the divine aspects of everything around us. As our brains developed, consciousness transitioned from body, to dwell primarily in the mind, and the notion of the “I” began to take form, disconnecting us from nature and creating great divides amongst ourselves. Most notably, we began to experience our minds as separate and superior to body and spirit.
During this workshop we will explore the differences between thinking and knowing as processes of the mind (thinking) and of the body (knowing), to ultimately dissolve some of the structures associated with the mind, so that we can return consciousness back into the body and access our own wisdom and intuition. Dive into the delicate dance between mind and body and experience how the mind is most potent when it is in service to the heart. During this session, we use sound and vocal toning, breath work, body scans, dynamic movement and yin yoga techniques. |

Postpartum Women's CircleCalling home the pieces of ourselves.
Postpartum is a woman-centered expression that refers to the separation of mother and baby at the time of birth. Therefore, once a woman is postpartum, she is always postpartum. This is an invitation to all postpartum women, whether you are several weeks postpartum or several years postpartum to commune with one another in sacred circle.
Within our circle, we will explore the natural transitions of the feminine life cycle so that you can be empowered in your own experiences of ongoing transformation. Often, there is both a resistance to let go of the woman we once knew ourselves to be, and perhaps even a grieving of the loss of that person, whether in physical, or metaphysical form. As our bodies shift and the demands of family, work, and life pull us in different directions, finding center can be challenging. Calling home the pieces of ourselves is as much about the process of letting go as it is about bringing the pieces of ourselves that we give to others back to our center. During this session, we will also be focusing on pelvic floor health, which is essential for all women at all stages of life. You will learn how to use various simple but effective techniques such as breath, pelvic floor activation and awareness and core stabilization. Not sure if this workshop is for you?
